Also honored were Police Chief John Salvatore, who served for 34 years in Wethersfield before coming to Monroe, and Parks and Recreation Supervisor Russell Tice. (Voices, CT)

Developer Jeff Goodman, president of WaterMark Construction and Development, said the popular Delfino restaurant expressed interest in the downstairs restaurant and bar space as well. The team also emphasized their experience with these types of projects, as their architect Scott Payette, worked on the historic preservation of the sister-station over at Egleston Square.
