Painter chosen for mural Jun 16, 2007
NEWTONIA Doug Hall, a native of Neosho and a resident of McDonald County, has been chosen to create a mural for the Newtonia Battlefields Protection Association. The mural will depict the First Battle of Newtonia which was fought on Sept. 30, 1862. (Carthage Press, MO)
