    Old Boston, new ways  Nov 15, 2009
    There is a wide array of newspapers and artwork, too, with paintings by Gilbert Stuart and John Singer Sargent and sculptures by Augustus Saint-Gaudens and Houdon.     The most well-known is the life-size "Munro-Lenox" painting of Washington by Gilbert Stuart circa 1800, now in archival storage. Another is the 1824 Porthole Portrait by Rembrandt Peale which can be found in University President Steven Knapp's home at the F Street House, along with other artifacts like a set of oak furniture that once belonged to Ulysses S.
