" Standing 20 stories and offering 360 rooms, the Embassy Suites hotel plans to open Nov. 2 and feature Mediterranean colors, flat-screen televisions and an artsy bridge linking the hotel to the convention center. It joins the Tampa Marriott Waterside hotel, which opened in 2000 at the south end of Florida Avenue. That prime location may help quiet the complaints of event bookers who sometimes say Tampa doesn't have enough hotel rooms downtown. In the past, tourism officials would talk about...
