Currently in DC Comics writer Geoff Johns has expanded the importance and mythology of Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) making him one of the largest players in the DCU, however First Flight seemed to miss most everything that made Johns run so enthralling by omitting and changing the characters and universe to fit the writers vision.
