    Art stars Andy Warhol, Philip Pearlstein and Jonathan Borofsky all exhibited in Annuals while students at Carnegie Tech (they've also all been included in Carnegie Internationals, the prestigious, curated exhibition that has earned the Carnegie a global reputation). Clark finds it particularly amusing that Warhol, who the school "almost flunked because they said he couldn't draw," exhibited drawings in the Annuals. (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, PA)

    Local artist's work heads to New York  Jan 1, 2007
    Stan Esson's at Tuesday painting was chosen for Philip Pearlstein Selects: National Juried Exhibition, Jan. 2-27. Pearlstein, a well-known artist, selected 43 pieces of artwork out of 1,000 submitted works for the show, which he will judge. (Park Hills Daily Journal, MO)
