    On Saturday in the Cody Club Room he presented his theory and then discussed it with a panel that included former Buffalo Bill Museum curator Paul Fees, curator of the University of Wyoming Art Museum Nicole Crawford, and Thomas Smith, the director of the Petrie Institute of Western American Art at the Denver Art Museum. Faubion insists that Stevens, and not Thomas Molesworth, should receive credit as being the catalyst for the popularity of Western decorative furniture. (Cody Enterprise, WY)

    With some investigating and modern forensics, government archeologists excavated the remains and identified them as Army privates Thomas Smith, David Ford and Levi Morris. They were among the famed Buffalo Soldiers, -African--American members of the US Army who served at remote outposts on the Western frontier in the years after the Civil War.     Murder charges over bodies find  Apr 10, 2009
    Thomas Smith, also from Cronberry, appeared at Ayr Sheriff court charged with murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice. He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody. (BBC News -- UK)
