New York-based sculptor Tom Otterness has chosen a Tempe foundry to cast his most recent bronze: an elaborate play area with a swing set. Arizona Bronze Fine Arts Atelier was selected to cast The Playground, a 16,000-pound, 30-foot-long, 30-foot-wide, 22-foot-high sculpture that Otterness describes as a "decorative, but meant to be played on" work of art.
