Neb. high court sets new sexual-harassment rules Aug 23, 2008
Gavin said in her lawsuit she quit her job after three weeks in 2005 because her boss, company president William Keith Rogers, repeatedly made sexual comments that made her uncomfortable. The Supreme Court ruled that a Lancaster County district court judge was wrong to throw out Gavin's lawsuit because a jury should decide whether Rogers' actions created a hostile work environment. Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Kilgore Middleton of Eupora; one daughter, Carolyn Allen of Eupora; two sons, David Middleton of Eupora and Dalton Clinton Middleton of Tupelo; one sister, Bobbie Blaylock of Eupora; two brothers, William Keith Middleton of Wet Point and Wayne Middleton of Columbia; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
